Can I freeze your products?

Yes. All Glorious Malone’s products can be frozen for later enjoyment. For the best flavor and texture, we recommend not freezing for longer than two months.

Is headcheese popular worldwide?

Yes. Headcheese has been enjoyed across Europe and many other regions for centuries. Each country has its own take, with different spices, meats and preparation methods.

Are your products gluten-free?

Yes. All Glorious Malone’s meat products are gluten-free. We never add cereals or grains to our recipes.

Do your products contain MSG?

No. We do not use MSG, preservatives or artificial flavoring in any of our products. Each variety is seasoned naturally with fresh garlic, onion and spices before undergoing our traditional smoking process.

Do you sell fresh liverwurst?

No. Glorious Malone’s does not produce or sell fresh liverwurst. While it shares some ingredients with our other products, it is a separate item not included in our current lineup.

What is headcheese?

Headcheese, also called brawn or souse, is a flavorful cold cut made from seasoned pork. The meat is cooked until tender, then set in its own natural gelatin to create a savory loaf. Despite the name, it contains no dairy cheese.

What does headcheese taste like?

Headcheese has a rich, savory flavor from the combination of seasoned pork and natural gelatin. Texture and taste may vary slightly between mild and hot varieties, depending on the spices used.

Is headcheese made from brains?

No. Modern headcheese does not contain brains. It is made from cuts of pork, such as the head, jowl or tongue, which are cooked and set in natural gelatin. The result is a flavorful, traditional deli meat with rich texture and seasoning.

Headcheese vs Bologna: What’s the difference?

While headcheese and bologna are both traditional deli meats, they differ in texture and preparation. Headcheese is made from slow-cooked cuts of pork bound in natural gelatin, creating a tender, sliceable loaf. Bologna is finely ground, blended with seasonings and encased for a smooth, uniform texture.

How long does headcheese last after opening?

Once opened, headcheese should be kept refrigerated and enjoyed within 5 to 7 days for peak freshness and flavor. Always reseal it tightly or store it in an airtight container to maintain quality.

Does headcheese contain actual cheese?

No. The “cheese” in headcheese refers to its firm, sliceable texture. It’s made entirely from pork, seasonings and natural gelatin. No dairy ingredients are included.

Shipping/Ordering FAQs

How is the shipping cost calculated?

Shipping and handling costs depend on the delivery option selected at checkout. You’ll see your total shipping charge on the “Place Order” page before submitting your order.

Does Glorious Malone’s ship nationwide?

Yes! We ship to all 50 states using UPS, with careful packaging and cold preservation to maintain quality.

How are your products packed?

Products are vacuum sealed, frozen at peak freshness and shipped in insulated boxes with ice packs. This process keeps every order cold, safe and delicious when it arrives.

When will my order ship?

Orders received by Wednesday through Friday at noon typically ship the following week. Timing varies by destination, so packages arrive fresh by Friday and avoid weekend storage. During holidays or promotions, processing may take slightly longer.

What if I need my order by a specific date?

You can request a delivery date in the “special instructions” box at checkout. We can’t guarantee we can meet your request, but we’ll do our best and contact you if adjustments or additional shipping costs apply.

Which payment methods are accepted in the online shop?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

How secure is shopping on your website? Is my data protected?

Yes. Our site uses SSL encryption and advanced security software to protect your personal information and transaction data.

Shipping Restrictions:

We are unable to ship our Gourmet Headcheese or Country Pate to P.O. boxes, APO, FPO, and DPO addresses. 

We are not responsible for products that spoil due to: 

  • packages left at the door for extended periods of time
  • packages sent back to freight location because nobody was available to sign for them
  • delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Returns

We will be happy to arrange for a return of a product that you are not satisfied with if that product is still in its original packaging.  We cannot accept returns of opened or partially consumed items.  Please inspect the contents as soon as they arrive.  Due to the perishable nature of our products, we can only accept returns only if you contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your order.  Please keep your purchase refrigerated and call us at (414) 264-9894 within 24 hours of receipt. We will arrange a return for you. Glorious Malone’s Fine Sausage does not accept returns that have not been authorized, so we urge you not to refuse delivery or send back items without calling us before.

Once the items have been received back at Malone’s a credit for the cost of the items will be issued to your account.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.
